The combination of Sypack and DGI gives us a leading position in the helicopter refueling business in both Europe and Asia. The addition of Sypack opens up new countries and widens the opportunities to sell our products in other segments as they have a footprint in the luxury yachts, offshore wind farms, coast guard vessels and other special vessels.

Martin Rosmolen, CCO of DGI, said: "The acquisition of Sypack is the next logical step in our strategy to further develop our company as global systems provider as we now have a strong foothold worldwide in the helicopter refueling business. We are currently working on a new design for our helicopter refueling systems. The new design will combine the best of both worlds and integrate state of the art technology. We expect to be able to introduce the new heliRFS design in the second quarter of 2015.”

Hans Buis, Operations Manager of Sypack said: “Going further as one company enables us to grow further and increase our capacity. It creates development opportunities for my staff as well, which has been a major aspect in my decision to hand over my company to DGI.”
